Which Cruise Line is Best for You? - Part 1

With so many cruise lines out there, it's hard to know which is right for you and what you want out of your cruise.

Let's break it down by each of the cruise lines I offer my clients. This is part one of a two part series.

Carnival

Carnival is the entry point for many interested in cruising.  Its name recognition will draw younger and loyal crowds.  They've also partnered with celebrity chefs like Guy Fieri and Emeril Lagasse to elevate their food.

These cruise ships are usually fairly full with likeminded guests; so If you love to meet new people, party into the night and get to common destinations, this could be a great choice for you.

Who is it for?  Those who want a party atmosphere, younger cruisers and price conscious travelers.

Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages set sail in 2021 and has since turned the cruise industry upside down!  No set dining times or huge dining rooms on these ships, but they do offer over 20 eateries where food is cooked fresh to order.  Sailors must be over 18 which allows for quieter sea days.

You'd love a Virgin Voyage if you like craft drinks and delicious food created by Michelin star chefs.  They also make a point to travel to different locations rather than the typical fare so you won't see other cruise ships in port when you anchor.

Who is it for?  Foodies, LGBTQIA+ travelers and allies, fitness lovers and luxury travelers.

Princess Cruises

"The Love Boat" taught us a lot about cruising like where Puerto Vallarta is and that there's a ship photographer!  Their partner, Princess Cruises, is still expecting you.

It's great for those who enjoy learning more about their destination while cruising.  It's also ideal for those prefer to avoid a party atmosphere yet also appreciate traditional cruising features.  Princess is a solid, reliable cruise line that has a proven record of happy clients.

Who is it for?  Traditional cruisers, middle aged to empty nesters, those interested in Alaska sailings.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line appeals to traditional cruisers seeking an elevated experience, epitomized by their Haven Concierge Level rooms with exclusive amenities.

While catering to luxury, the entire ship maintains excellent service and diverse dining options. Their innovative approach to cruising provides flexibility within a traditional framework.

Who is it for?  Multi-generational travel, luxury seekers and those who enjoy great food.
